FPT Motorenforschung AG in Arbon has around 250 highly qualified employees

electrified powertrains, hybrids and fuel cells, but also novel engines concepts and

alternative fuels) and is therefore at the forefront of a transition towards a future of

alternative propulsion systems.

We would like to fill the following position as soon as possible:

Logistics and international transport team leader

Your tasks

  • Personnel and technical management of the team
  • Coordination and handling of incoming and outgoing goods
  • Coordination of international transports and transports of dangerous goods

(batteries)

  • Carrying out administrative tasks related to the performance of the function
  • Process optimization in coordination with the central departments
  • Disposition of the means of transport as well as ensuring the transport safety
  • Operation, expansion and development of the storage system and the automatic

storage system

  • Ensuring the operational readiness and transport safety of the company's vehicle

fleet

Your profile

  • Higher education in the field of logistics (dipl. logistics manager NDS, dipl.

technician HF logistics or similar).

  • Several years of professional experience in logistics and team management with

significant project and leadership responsibility

  • Good user knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems

  • Knowledge of customs and import regulations
  • Valid SUVA recognized forklift license is an advantage
  • Language skills

o German: native language or min. C1 level

o English: business fluent (B2 or higher level)

o Other languages of advantage

  • Logistical skills and technical understanding
  • Independent and exact way of working
  • High level of personal responsibility and a process-oriented way of thinking and

working

  • Flexibility, ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure
  • Affinity and high interest in technical and storage systems (e.g. combustion

engines, vehicles, WMS systems, automatic storage systems)
